I am alone,
Stripped of my sin and shame.
Protect me, heal me, let me grow
In Your Name.

Ask yourself:
Am I truly letting go?

Ask yourself:

Am I truly letting go?

Though storms may drown with pain
I do not have to suffer.
When lightning strikes, I am moved,
I do not give in to shock.
The thunder that bellows
Gives way to transformation, a new identity.

My prayer is for healing in Your calm waters,
Underneath Your brilliant sky,
Bathed in Your light,
Known by Your saving grace.

Though storms may drown with pain

I do not have to suffer.

When lightning strikes, I am moved,

I do not give in to shock.

The thunder that bellows

Gives way to transformation, a new identity.

My prayer is for healing in Your calm waters,

Underneath Your brilliant sky,

Bathed in Your light,

Known by Your saving grace.

I didn’t really see myself
Until much later than this picture was taken.
But this is a portrait of me,
Of what I used to be.
Who am I now?
I am free.
My heart no longer hardens.
My chains have been broken.
The gates have been opened.
And it is glorious on the other side.
That is promised.
That is delivered.
That is the power of grace.

You are my fill, my colors abundant.
You light up my life, my end to darkness.
I stand firm upon your promises.
I see your grace, my eyes finally open.

Everything I make

I want to share.

Compulsion

Leads to madness.

Yet I know

No other way

To connect.
